Beijing ABB Electric Drive Systems Co., Ltd. started factory automation and digitalization projects in 2018, committed to building smart factories. ACH580-31 is an ultra-low harmonic converter launched by ABB in the Chinese market in 2022. This product has a built-in harmonic suppression system, which can achieve a total harmonic distortion rate THDi of less than 3%, helping users to increase efficiency and energy saving while ensuring power quality. It can be widely used in data centers, electronic factories, hospitals, laboratories, airports, subways, commercial buildings, shopping centers and other occasions or applications with strict harmonic requirements.

ABB permanent magnet shaft generator

ABB’s new permanent magnet shaft generator uses mature permanent magnet technology to achieve a maintenance-free solution, improving efficiency, optimizing performance and enhancing reliability for ship operators. It can help ships save 3%-4% of fuel costs and significantly reduce emissions. Its lightweight and compact optimized design reduces the installation area by about 20%.

Industry Smart Manufacturing Innovation Award

In terms of industry applications, “ABB inverter and motor heating station digital application to help smart heating” won the “Industry Smart Manufacturing Innovation Award”. Before the 2022 heating season, ABB engineers conducted on-site inspections of scattered community heat exchange stations, and connected key equipment such as circulating water pumps, make-up water pumps, and inverters in the station to the cloud.
